About George Kahumoku Jr.
George Kahumoku Jr. is often called Hawai‘i’s Renaissance Man — and for good reason.
In addition to being a celebrated slack key guitarist, he is a prolific songwriter, performer, teacher,
visual artist, storyteller, author, farmer, and entrepreneur.
George tours regularly as a soloist and alongside other Hawaiian masters. His performances blend
traditional Hawaiian music, personal stories, and the rich, open-tuned sound of slack key guitar.
